Geodata.plus is an innovative platform for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial data processing. We focus on spatial data conversion, coordinate system transformation, and the provision of fast, reliable online tools for working with geodata.

Our flagship tool — Geodata.plus — is built for GIS professionals, developers, and researchers who need to convert between formats, reproject data, and integrate spatial data into their workflows. No software installation required.

The company was founded with roots in both Canada and the United States, serving a global user base that spans government agencies, universities, engineering firms, and independent developers. Our customers come from fields where spatial data is critical — including meteorology, geology, real estate, infrastructure planning, marketing analytics, and 3D simulation.

We build on open-source technology. Our conversion engine is powered by GDAL/OGR — the same battle-tested library used across the GIS industry — which means we support the widest possible range of formats without proprietary lock-in.

Our goal is to make geospatial data accessible to everyone: easy enough for a first-time user to convert a Shapefile in seconds, and powerful enough for developers to automate complex pipelines through our REST API.

Looking ahead, we are building a growing suite of specialized geodata tools — from format conversion and CRS reprojection today, to collaborative data sharing, visualization, and processing workflows in the near future.
